The Capital Grille - Sarasota | Elegant Steakhouse Dining & Exceptional Service

I was proposed to at this restaurant two years ago. We celebrated our anniversary here Saturday night. They set the table with confetti and brought out a special plate of desserts at the end for us. The food was amazing. I ordered the scallops and my husband ordered the lamb. Both were awesome but the lamb was the best. Our waiter was Jesus and he was very attentive and kind. We will definitely visit again.

Chef's creations delicious, I had the sliced filet with wild mushrooms and fig so good. Our server Jose excellent attention to detail and friendly service. Very relaxing and great atmosphere.

The food is always excellent and consistent in all locations. Service is excellent. Been going there for 15 years and never had a bad meal. Highly recommended. Reservations recommended during holidays and weekends. Always save room for dessert.

What a lovely night!! It was my birthday celebration and was definitely memorable. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by smiling hostesses and managers. I recommend making a reservation, we had one and we were immediately seated on time. The restaurant gets quite busy and they can’t have a wait, without a reservation. The ambiance and mood is very calming, yet upscale. The exposed kitchen behind glass is a very classy touch! Our server Melissa was one of the sweetest servers I think I’ve ever had. Extremely knowledgeable on wines and every menu item. She was so attentive, and anticipated our needs. So pleasant and just had an overall positive and friendly vibe. The way Melissa took care of us really was a large part of the evening. The food; oh goodness it was so delicious! Very satiating and flavorful. We weeent swear it was restaurant week, but the specials seemed too good to pass up! We ordered the fixed 3 course meals. However you can choose your starter, main entree, and dessert. It was flawless!! The Capital Grille truly is a five star experience all around. Thank you all and especially Melissa for making my birthday extra special! The rose was so sweet too. So kind.

From the moment I walked in, everything at The Capital Grille was top-tier. The food was beautifully presented and even better tasting—rich flavors and cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding, attentive without being overbearing, and made the entire experience feel special. The atmosphere was elegant, warm, and perfect for a night out. Definitely a place that makes you feel valued and leaves you wanting to come back again and again.

Weylin was our server, Alex was also our server but I saw Weylin more. Weylin is very funny. Very attentive as well! All the steaks were great. My salmon was a little overcooked but it wasn't a problem, my salad had enough dressing to wet it. Oh also the calamari needed salt. Thanks for a great birthday dinner for my dad!

In New York, I often go to The Capital Grille in the Chrysler Building. It is my favorite. Saw it today at UTC shopping center. The restaurant still has an elegant atmosphere. We ordered salmon and mini tenderloin sandwiches. The taste and quality of the food were impeccable. The waiters were friendly . We will be back again.

The experience was great! Victoria was very tentative, made good suggestions, and was all out AWESOME. This is the type of place where you eat slowly, savor the food, enjoy the environment and take your time.
